My second album. This one is probably the biggest jump between two projects of mine - subjectively in quality but objectively in terms of process and sound. As I changed my process, the range of available sound widened immensely. I spent a lot of time on this project recording sounds and objects in the spaces around me. A park with usable mallet instruments was the basis for two of these tracks ("Overgrown" and "Skellig"). A metal water bottle was the start of the title track, and a glitch on an old sampling keyboard led to "Unmoored." There are plenty more timbral easter eggs for whoever is curious enough to listen to them.

With all that, the music is still inspired by nonmusical events, feelings, and ideas. Unlike a lot of my other work, I'm choosing to leave interpretations to the listener this time.
